KUNDAN STORE — RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind after purchasing jewellery or accessories. At The Kundan Store, we want you to feel completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you decide not to keep an item, we offer a simple and transparent return process through Coupon Codes & Store Credits.
However, please note that Bridal Jewellery items are not eligible for any return, replacement, or refund. Additionally, no return or replacement requests will be accepted after 3 days from the date of delivery to the customer.
🔹 3-Step Return Process
1. Inform:
You must share the name and image of the product via email at support@thekundanstore.com or WhatsApp at +91-8287400970 within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once we approve your request, you can proceed with the return.
2. Return:
After receiving our confirmation, please ship the product back within 5 days using reliable courier service. The shipping cost for returning the product will be borne by the customer.
Ensure the product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging or found damaged/used will not qualify for refund through Coupon Code or Store Credit.
3. Refund / Credit:
After receiving and inspecting your returned product, we will issue your Store Credit or Coupon Code (equivalent to the product value) within 3 working days.
The refund will only be issued in the form of Coupon Code or Store Credit — no bank or cash refunds will be made.
❌ CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders are generally processed within 2 hours of placement. Cancellations are only accepted before the order is shipped.

COD Orders: Customers will receive a call for confirmation before dispatch.

Prepaid Orders: Orders cancelled before shipping will be refunded as Store Credit or Coupon Code, or refunded to the original payment mode with 5% deduction as Payment Gateway charges.
💳 REFUND POLICY
Mode of Refund:
All refunds are issued in the form of Store Credit or Coupon Code only.

Validity: 1 year from the date of issuance.

Single use only.

Cannot be combined with other offers or discount codes.
Processing Time:
Refunds (Store Credits / Coupon Codes) are processed within 3 working days after receiving the returned item or upon order cancellation confirmation.
⚖️ DEDUCTIONS & CHARGES

₹250 deduction for non-acceptance of prepaid orders (to cover forward and reverse shipping).

₹125 deduction for orders originally shipped under Free Shipping offers.
-
5% deduction applies on failed prepaid transactions due to payment gateway charges.

Customers using refund credits/codes repeatedly are limited to 2 instances traced back to the original purchase.

Free shipping offers applied on orders using refund credits will also be deducted (₹125) after two such usages.
💰 TOKEN AMOUNT POLICY (for COD Orders)

Token amounts are non-refundable if the order is cancelled, not accepted, or returned to our warehouse.

A standard deduction of ₹250 applies for the ‘to & fro’ courier journey.

If token amount exceeds ₹250, the excess will be refunded as Store Credit or Coupon Code.
📦 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

All items are eligible for return only for Store Credit or Coupon Code — no cash refunds.

Returns must be informed within 48 hours and shipped within 5 days after approval.

No return or replacement requests will be accepted after 3 days of product delivery.

Bridal Jewellery is not eligible for any return or replacement under any circumstances.

Used, damaged, or unpacked items will not be accepted.

Items not reported within 48 hours or not received within 5 days are ineligible for returns.

No money refunds for dissatisfaction with design, quality, or expectation mismatch.
💎 DAMAGED PRODUCT RECEIVED
Our products undergo a 3-Level Quality Check before dispatch. However, in rare cases where a product is damaged in transit:
1. Inform within 48 hours:
Send an email to team@thekundanstore.com with unboxing video or clear images showing the issue.
2. Reverse Pickup (India Only):
Once approved, a reverse pickup will be arranged at no additional cost within 24 hours.
If the pickup fails due to unavailability, you will be required to ship the product back at your expense.
3. Resolution:
Upon receiving the damaged item, we will either:

Dispatch a replacement (if available), or

Issue a Store Credit / Coupon Code equal to the product value (valid for 1 year).
No monetary refund will be issued for damaged or replacement cases.

Only one code or credit can be used per order.

Cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.

Valid for 1 year from issuance.

Non-transferable and cannot be reactivated once used.
